About

My previous research was focused on behaviour-health interactions in companion animals. I studied the impact of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) infection on behaviour and cognitive function of domestic cats and investigated its interaction with the development of age-associated cognitive impairments (Feline Dementia).

I chose the Animal Welfare Program at UBC as it is one of the leading programs in this field with advanced research facilities and an excellent collaborative environment for research-based students.

My PhD research project focuses on intra-species variation in domestic dogs. We would like to study differences in aspects of behaviour, learning, and motivation within and between different breeds of dogs.
