About
I started my MSc in January 2020 where I will continue to explore dairy cattle welfare. Joining the Animal Welfare Program provides an opportunity to combine my interests in research and farm animals in a supportive and diverse environment.
I am from Calgary, AB. I was first introduced to the field of animal welfare during my undergraduate at UBC where I assisted in a project assessing outdoor access for dairy cattle. In 2019, I joined the Animal Welfare Program as a research assistant with a NSERC USRA where I worked on a variety of dairy calf and cow projects. This experience confirmed my interest in animal welfare research and my passion for dairy cattle.
